Creating places that lift the human spirit

Threadneedle Architecture & Design was founded by Nathaniel Gotcher, a classically trained architect specializing in sacred architecture and educational facilities. He served as project architect for the award-winning Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary Student Life Center and Chapel with Voith & Mactavish Architects and project lead for Campbell AME Church’s preservation efforts with Union Studio.

Nathaniel brings a creative and time-tested approach to every project in service of client mission. He combines technical knowledge, a fierce desire to understand client needs, and an approach to problem-solving built on both, translating meaning into beautiful forms through passionate and reasoned exploration.

Art is at its best when it is a part of a living tradition that can be passed on to future generations. At Threadneedle, practice and theory go hand in hand to help establish the tradition of classically-grounded, creative, and community-oriented architecture and urban design.
